ICBM and the Restoration Movement

Biblical Authority: Aligning with the Restoration Movement’s emphasis on returning to biblical principles, ICBM provides Christian literature in accessible formats. It distributes publications like Christian Standard and The Lookout through audio and offers the world’s largest Restoration Movement-related Braille lending library. This approach ensures that the blind and visually impaired can engage directly with Scripture and biblically rooted teachings.
Church Unity: By focusing on providing access to Christian materials, ICBM helps to unify the broader Christian community with its blind members. The ministry promotes connections with churches to garner support and fosters volunteerism, building a more unified body of believers working together. This aligns with the Restoration Movement’s call for unity among Christians.
Global Discipleship: Since 1975, ICBM has been dedicated to fulfilling the Great Commission by sending Braille and audio materials to over 20 countries. It aims to support the spiritual growth of blind individuals and help them become disciples who can also make disciples, advancing the global mission of the church.

Through its work, ICBM embodies the unique mission of the Restoration Movement by applying its core values to a specific, often-overlooked group within the global Christian community.
